Summer Montessori is full of fun and relaxed adventures within a Montessori atmosphere: structure and order, science, fine arts, music and dance, and a sense of community. Our program is available for children ages 3-5 currently enrolled at Woodland Montessori School and open community-wide to children 6-10.
Beginning June 3, 2011 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Special Classes: 1-4 days long, open community-wide.
Both the care program and special class program are based on a theme of travel and exploration. These cultural-based topics allow all the elements of the classroom to be integrated in Montessori fashion. Children can expect to have access to and enjoy a variety of activities and projects that pertain to the listed topics or class title.
Weekly curriculum themes & special daily activities: in addition to an established routine, daily summer Montessori will offer "areas of study" to create structure and interest.
**Children attending the care program will need to bring a lunch.
