To create the best possible learning and independence-building environment for children, it is our goal to foster consistency between home and school.  As a matter of training, all of our staff are required to participate in the Developing Capable Young People program and we offer it to parents in the attempt to develop continuity in the way children are spoken to and interact with adults.  This is an extremely valuable program!  Not only does it serve to promote the consistency we strive for, but those who have taken it have found that it is helpful in a multitude of relationships.
